Oven Baked Fries

5-6 potatoes

Seasoning

2 tablespoons oil (do not use Olive Oil)
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon "Montreal" steak spice (optional)
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)


Method:

Preheat oven to 450F

Peel potatoes and wash under cold water.
Choose a suitable knife and cut into fries.
Don't cut them too thin or they will burn during cooking.
Put the fries aside in a large bowl.

Get a small bowl for the seasoning.
Mix seasoning well and combine with the fries in a large bowl. (Yes, this could get messy!)

Arrange fries on a non-stick pan without overlapping them
Bake for 20 min, remove from oven and flip fries over.
Bake for another 5 - 10 min until golden brown.
Yields 2-3 portions
