    About the PAC

The role of the Parent Advisory Council is to act in an advisory capacity. It is the officially recognized voice of parents of children registered at the school.

All parents/guardians of children attending North Saanich are already voting members of the PAC. The primary duty of the PAC Executive is to act as a liaison between the principal, staff, and parents. You are encouraged to attend the monthly PAC meetings that are generally held the third Tuesday of the month in the Learning Commons. If you are unable to attend a meeting, you can always contact one of your PAC Executive members.

There are many ways to help out at NSMS!

    • Assist with fundraising efforts to support a variety of student activities.

    Safe Arrival

    • Ensure the safety of our students by calling the families of absent children who have not called in sick.

    Grade 8 Farewell

    • Grade 8 parents help to organize this event for the Grade 8s.

    Staff Appreciation Lunch

    • Each Spring we provide a luncheon for the staff to say thank you for all their hard work! You can help by providing food and/or volunteering your time.

    Vaccination Clinics

    • Parents/guardians are needed to help keep grade 6 students comfortable during the two clinics.

    Miscellaneous Jobs

    • We are always in need of volunteers to help with miscellaneous jobs throughout the year.
