We have started a new unit on perfect squares and square roots. Lesson
8-59 explores why perfect squares have an odd number of factors.

Science:
read up to page 22 in the Get Ready Guide. This is about the top 10
hazards in B.C. read the quick answer questions on each hazard and come
with some answers. While you read about the hazards, think about which
ones we should prepare for in our area, and which ones would not occur.
French: A new unit on places in the city was started today. A picture dictionary was started.
Miscellaneous: The next pizza day is Friday, January 28.
