Math: We are now
practicing operations with fractions. Students are working on adding and
subtracting fractions with like and unlike denominators.
Work on lesson 19, adding and subtracting mixed numbers, page 29, questions 1 and 2 due Friday, October 16.
As part of your
practice work, check your answers and see how you can correct any that
need review. If you are stuck, ask me about it next math class.
Science: Complete the questions in the Google classroom on osmosis and turgor pressure by 12:30 on Thursday.
Miscellaneous:
North Saanich will have an earthquake drill on Thursday at 10:15. This
is part of the The Great B.C. Shakeout. There will also be a fire drill
at 11:41.
The order deadline for student photos is Wednesday, October 21. Ordering
online is also an option. Photo retakes are scheduled for November
6th.
