Water fact of the day: Access to clean drinking water is a major problem in poorer areas of the world. Water pollution and low quality water can lead to dangerous bacteria, disease and viruses such as E coli and Cryptosporidium.

Our coin drive to support clean water and sanitation is on! Please bring in coins this week and next and your class could win fabulous prizes for bringing in the most cash. Thanks to Mr. Mark for agreeing to let the winning class dress him up in a funny outfit and dance to their choice of song at an assembly. Winning class also gets a special sunny block 4 in the park with some treats. And homeroom teachers: you might earn a block 4 off, too! Thanks for participating, North Saanich.
