REMINDER:
A reminder that tomorrow is Crazy Hair/Hat Day!
SKILLS CANADA COMPETITORS:
Thank you to all our Grade 8’s who participated in the Skills Canada Wind Turbine and Spaghetti Bridge Competitions this week. We were pleased with the interest and enthusiasm as well as the results. Good luck to our competitors at the regional competition as well as those who will compete in the Gravity Car Competition.
GRADE 6/7 BOYS VOLLEYBALL:
There will be a short meeting today for 6/7 Boys Volleyball in the atrium after the eating period.
BOOK CLUB:
There is a Book Club meeting today after the eating period in the Art Room.
RUGBY PRACTICE:
There will be a rugby practice tomorrow after school 3:15 - 4:15 on the top field. This practice is for ALL students interested in learning to play rugby. See Mrs. Jones or Ms. Stofer for more info if you have any questions. Go Hawks!
INTRAMURALS:
Division 1 vs. 10
OPEN GYM:
The gym is open at recess for students from Divisions 11 & 12.
COMPUTER LAB:
The computer lab will be open to Divisions 5 & 6 today.
PARKLAND HOCKEY ACADEMY:
The Parkland Hockey Academy has organized a free ice session for NSMS students who may be interested in joining the academy next year. The ice session is Thursday, March 3rd from 7:30 - 8:50 am at Panorama. Please see Mr. Mark if you are interested. He will be handing out and collecting the forms. The due date for the forms is Feb.28th. Parkland will provide bus transportation back to NSMS.
YEARBOOKS ON SALE NOW:
Yearbooks will be available for purchase until March 4th. Books are $25 and can be ordered online. NSMS Online Yearbook Order LINK
SCOOTER PARKING:
Beginning on Feb. 28th, we are asking all students who travel to North Saanich on their scooters to please park and lock them up outside. We have numerous spaces available on our bike racks where scooters can be locked safely. Unfortunately, we do not have enough space inside of the school to accommodate scooter parking moving forward.
