Are you stuck for answers when a teen in your life asks you the hard questions about their peer group? Are you looking for some insight into what’s going on in the world of youth? Are you seeking resources and information for how to talk to your teen about, drug use, alcohol use, and consent and staying safe?
Saanich Youth Services in partnership with the Saanich Police Department – Community Engagement Division – Youth & Schools Section and the Youth Outreach Team from Saanich Neighbourhood Place will host a two-hour, trauma informed and harm reduction learning opportunity for parents, caregivers and youth. In this workshop, participants will have the chance to ask all the questions they need to. Gather all of the up-to-date information from police officers and youth workers in our community. Caregivers and youth are encouraged to come together.
Tuesday, November 23rd, 6:00 -8:00 pm - Saanich Community Space – Royal Oak Middle School Multi Purpose Room
Registration of one youth holds a spot for one parent/ caregiver to attend with the youth. Adults do not need to register for this course.
