Viking Cup:
Last night the BC Health Authority announced that there is a ban on events of greater than 250 people which means that we can not proceed with this years' Viking Cup hockey game. Mr. Russell has been in touch with the Panorama Recreation Centre and the School District, and we do not have any options but to follow the orders and cancel the game. We are all disappointed, but we must follow the directions of the health experts to keep our children and community safe in these uncertain times.
Today is still an early dismissal day at NSMS, so our buses will be bringing students home at 2:00 PM.
Pizza Lunch:
There WILL be pizza lunch offered today but there are a limited number of pizzas and no chocolate milk. GO HAWKS!
Lost & Found:
Our Lost & Found is overflowing!!! PLEASE take a look if you are missing items. Unclaimed items are going to be donated.

Get your kids KIDOVATING this Spring Break!
Building on a successful pilot in 2019, UVIC’s Gustavson School of Business has launched KIDOVATE 2020. KIDOVATE aims to develop entrepreneurial skill and spirit among local middle school and high school youth by encouraging them to make and then sell goods or services at a KIDOVATE marketplace. This year the KIDOVATE Market Day is on Saturday, April 4th, 2020 at The Bay Centre. There is no cost to participate in KIDOVATE. KIDOVATE assists youth by providing a graphic novel workbook that helps kids think through key business decisions, and by providing access to UVIC student mentors, a one-day business license for Market Day, and promotional activities to build customer interest.
