Track & Field:
Congratulations to the NSMS students who competed in the heat at UVic on Thursday. The results have not yet been posted but we already know that several students qualified for the finals in their events. The next meet is today and students attending should respectfully ask their Block 4 teacher to be dismissed at 2:30. There is no practice tomorrow but Wednesday practices will run as usual.
Floor Hockey:
'Original Six' Floor hockey starts today! There are rosters and schedules posted around the school. Today's game is between Montreal and Toronto. Go Habs Go!
Girls Rugby:
There will be a girls rugby meeting today at recess in Mrs Stofer's room.
Europe Spring Break 2021:
Attention young travelers! Any grade 6 students interested coming on the spring break 2021 Europe Trip, please come to Mrs. McElgunn's classroom, room 207, today at lunch after the eating period.
Grade 8 Rugby:
There is a grade 8 rugby practice after school today.
Gauss Math:
The Gauss Contest is on Wednesday in Block 3 in the multi-purpose room. If you signed up for the Gauss, please show up with a pencil, eraser, and calculator (phones are not permitted). Girls who are writing the Gauss but will be away for rugby on Wednesday should come to Ms. Carruthers' room in Block 4 tomorrow.
KAZ Basketball Camp:
KAZ Basketball is holding a FREE camp on May 19th @ Iroquois Park from 11am-3pm for boys and girls in Grades 6-9. See the school website for more information.
