Track & Field Practices:
Track practices this week are today and tomorrow after school at Parkland and tomorrow morning at 8:15 in the gym for high jump. We have more athletes showing up for practices than we have paperwork for! Please make sure you get your forms in this week. The first meet is next Thursday at UVic.
Tech Crew:
There is no Tech Crew meeting this week - we all deserve a rest after a crazy time last week.
Mountain Bike Club:
This week's ride will be on Thursday. Remember to sign in before Thursday, please. We'll likely ride up Waterworks, then work our way across the mountain before coming down Who's Your Daddy & Night Shift. GO HAWKS!
Floor hockey players!
Don't forget to sign up in the atrium if you want to play in the next lunchtime league.
Grade 8 rugby players:
Practice tomorrow after school.
Boys 6/7 Rugby Team:
Away game tomorrow at Royal Oak. Parent pick up will be at 2:30. Players are responsible for organizing their rides to the game.
Gauss Math Contest:
Congratulations to the 75 students who have signed up to write the Gauss contest. There is an optional prep session on Thursday at lunch in the art room for any students wanting to practice or get help with any questions from past contests.
Yearbook Orders:
Reminder to all students...you only have 5 more days to order your yearbook. Be sure to get your order in by Friday as NO LATE ORDERS will be accepted!
Parkland’s Talent Showcase & Art Gallery:
Come out and support former NSMS students at the Parkland Showcase on Thursday, May 2nd at 7 pm. Tix are $5 each and can be purchased at the Parkland office at lunch or at the door the night of. Proceeds will support the 2019 Grad class.
