Indoor soccer:

Playoffs begin today!  The first game is between 1st place Div 2 and 8th place Div 5.  Don't let the standings fool you. There are always lower seeded teams who upset a 'sure thing'!  Play hard and have fun!


Adventure Squad

Meeting during Advisory tomorrow for both grade 6 and 7 Adventure Squad members to discuss our overnight camping trip.  Please meet in Room 112.


Mountain Bike Club:

This week's ride is on Friday.  Please remember to go online to sign in (the link is on the school's web page) by Thursday evening.  Ideas for the ride include Sofa Kink, Green Ribbon or Who's Your Daddy.


GSA Hot Dog Day Is this Friday!

Today at lunch is your chance to skip the line and get your presale ticket. $5 gets you a hot dog, chips, juice and ice cream treat. Tickets will be on sale in the Atrium. Yes, you can buy food on Friday but today and Thursday is your chance to skip the line!


Grade 8 Boys Rugby:

Practice today after school.  We have a home game tomorrow against Arbutus.  


Grade 6/7 Boys Rugby:

Home game today.


Gauss Math Contest:

Students who are interested in writing the Gauss math contest but have not yet signed up should see either their math teacher or Ms. Carruthers. The deadline to sign up is tomorrow. There will be a Gauss prep session tomorrow at 11:55 in the Art Room for all interested students.


Attention all artists!

Please get your submissions for the yearbook cover to Mrs. Stofer by Friday.


Track & Field:

It's not too late to join track and field and no experience is needed! Practices are Tuesday and Wednesday after school at the Parkland track from 3:30 to 4:15 for all events except high jump. High jumpers practice on Wednesday mornings in the gym at 8:15. Forms can be picked up and dropped off outside Ms. Mazzocchi's room. Please try to get your forms handed in this week.


Lunchtime reminder:

A reminder that all students are to eat in their classrooms this week as the MPR is set up for Showcase.
