Gauss Math Contest:
The Gauss contest is an international math contest where the focus is on participation and challenging yourself. Over the past few years, NSMS has had 60-80 students take on this challenge each year. If you are interested in giving the Gauss math contest a try, there is an important meeting tomorrow at lunch, after the eating period, in Room 208. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Ms. Carruthers for information.
Intramurals:
There is no intramural game today so the gym will be closed at lunch.
Track & Field:
There will be an information meeting for all students who are interested in Track and Field today at lunch in Mrs. Carruthers room.
Grade 6/7 Boys Rugby:
There is an away game at Glanford tomorrow. Players are expected to organize a ride to and from the game. Parent pick up will be at 2:30 meeting in Mr. Greaves room.
Grade 8 Boys Rugby:
Grade 8 boys have a rugby practice tomorrow after school. Our next game is on Thursday at Cedar Hill.
Tech Crew:
This is Rehearsal Week for Showcase. We'll be setting up the MPR & Stage during lunch tomorrow. There are rehearsals after school both tomorrow & Thursday - make sure you know which one(s) you need to attend! Finally, we have the Full Setup on Friday from 10:00 to 2:00.
Showcase Rehearsals:
Reminder to students that there is Showcase rehearsal tomorrow and Thursday after school. Meet at 3:15 in the MPR with everything that you need to perform i.e. music, instruments, costume, etc.
Girls Rugby:
Be sure to arrange rides for Wednesday's game at McDonald Park.
Twin Day:
Thursday is Twin Day!
You can match clothing like onesie, hoodies, or entire outfits with a friend or two. There will be photo opportunities at lunch so make sure to get your picture taken for the yearbook.
Showcase Tickets:
Tickets for Showcase are now on sale before school (outside the office), at lunch (in the atrium) and after school (in the office). Tix are $5 each or a family pack (3 or 4 tix) for $10.
