Peninsula Track & Field:
Registration for this season is today from 5-6 pm at Parkland Secondary School. The registration form, along with track meet dates and other information, can be found on their website at www.pentrack.org. There are programs for kids between the ages of 6-16.
Lunchtime Soccer:
Check the schedule in the grade 8 hall to see the teams. Today is Div 9 vs Div 6.
Grade 8 Boys Rugby:
Any grade 8 rugby player who hasn't received a package of permission forms must pick one up from the folder at Mr. Chambers' classroom door. Our next practice is tomorrow.
Grade 6 & 7 Boys Rugby:
The boys 6/7 rugby team will practice on Wednesday and Friday after school from 3:15-4:15. Bring mouth guard and cleats.
Fast & Female Event:
Glenlyon Norfolk School is pleased to host a Fast and Female event Friday May 17 where female students will have the opportunity to engage in an inspirational Chat and Q&A with our Fast and Female Ambassadors, dance, get autographs, and more! Participants will enjoy high-quality face-to-face time with female athlete role models such as Elite, varsity and Olympians.
The goals of Champ Chats are:
Socialize in a non-competitive environment.
Be inspired by female role models.
Experience and encourage varied physical literacy.
Have fun! Celebrate girls and women in sport.
Keep girls healthy, happy, and active in sports.
