Grade 8’s:
Grade 8's please hand in your Parkland Course Selection Form to your homeroom teacher by Friday, March 8th. If you are considering attending another school, please speak with Mr. Newlove for information.
Free Ice Skills Session for North Saanich students:
Parkland Secondary Hockey Academy is hosting a free skills ice session on Tuesday, March 5 from 7:30-9:00 am for grade 6, 7, and 8 students. If you are a hockey player and interested in attending this free event, please get a permission form from Mr. Newlove and return by Friday, March 1. There will be bus transportation back to NSMS after the session.
Gauss Math:
Gauss Girls will meet today at lunch in the art room to start getting ready for the Gauss math contest in May. Bring your lunch, a pencil, and a calculator.
Intramurals Today:
Today’s game is Div 5 vs Div 8.
Grade 6 / 7 Boys Volleyball:
Game today at Colquitz Middle School. Please ask your teachers to be excused at 2:40pm. Final play date is a home game (here at NSMS) Thursday, Mar. 7! Come cheer on your Hawks!
Viking Cup:
Student players please return your permission forms to Mr. Russell in the office.
Spring Sailing:
Spring Sailing is starting soon. Beginner and experienced sailors are welcome! Sailing runs April 6th - June 8th. If you are interested please fill in an application form and hand in to the Parkland office c/o Christine Bennett. If you have any questions please contact Christine at cbennett@saanichschools.ca .
