Grade 8’s:
Grade 8's please hand in your Parkland Course Selection Form to your homeroom teacher by Friday, March 8th. If you are considering attending another school, please speak with Mr. Newlove for information.
Free Ice Skills Session for North Saanich students:
Parkland Secondary Hockey Academy is hosting a free skills ice session on Tuesday, March 5 from 7:30-9:00 am for grade 6, 7, and 8 students. If you are a hockey player and interested in attending this free event, please get a permission form from Mr. Newlove and return by Friday, March 1. There will be bus transportation back to NSMS after the session.
Craft Club:
On Wednesdays come to the art room to paint, draw, bead, knit and do clay. Bring your lunch.
Intramurals Today:
Today’s game is Div 4 vs Div 9 and tomorrow is Div 5 vs Div 8.
Grade 6 / 7 Boys Volleyball:
You have a very important meeting today during the eating period in Mrs. McElgunn's classroom (it won't take long). Game tomorrow at Colquitz Middle School. Please ask your teachers to be excused at 2:40pm. Final play date is a home game (here at NSMS) Thursday, Mar. 7! Come cheer on your Hawks!
Girls Rugby:
Practice today at 3:15. Please meet in the MPR. There is also practice Thursday morning at 8.
Grade 8 Boys Rugby:
Practice today after school.
Tech Crew:
Meeting today for those members helping with Viking Cup. Those not helping don't need to attend.
Gauss Math:
Gauss Girls will meet tomorrow at lunch in the art room to start getting ready for the Gauss math contest in May. Bring your lunch, a pencil, and a calculator.
Viking Cup:
Student players please return your permission forms to Mr. Russell in the office.
