DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

LOST & FOUND:

Our lost and found is now on display in the Atrium. Please come and have a look if. Any items not claimed will be donated after school on May 30 to Beacon Community Services.

 

TECH CREW:

  • Please return your permission forms for Drop Dead, Juliet! and the Grade 5 Transition as soon as possible.

  • Today’s Tech Crew meeting - all those helping with the play should attend the first hour; Jack, Jasmine, Isaac P & Owen should plan on staying for as much of the rehearsal as possible.

 

MOUNTAIN BIKE CLUB:

Monday is our next ride day.  Let Mr. Caley know if you have an idea for where we should ride.

 

INDOOR SOCCER:  Today is the last regular season game for grade 6/7 indoor soccer.  The league standings will be posted tomorrow and then playoffs will start on Monday and continue every day until next Wednesday when there will be only 2 teams left in the finals!

 

STAGECRAFT MEETING

The stagecraft meeting for Drop Dead Juliet! has been cancelled for today. We will meet on Tuesday at 3:15 to set up the stage! See you then.

 

CALLING ALL ARTISTS:

  • Submissions are due to Mrs Stofer Today!

 

YEARBOOK:  

Reminder that today is the last day for yearbook orders! Please ensure to order a yearbook as there are only a few extras ordered.

 

TRACK & FIELD:

  • Please continue to bring back your signed permission forms.

  • Practices Times: General Practice Tuesday & Wednesday after school (3:15-4:15) at PARKLAND, and High Jump practice 8:00 am Thursday morning at North Saanich.

 

RUGBY:

  • Congratulations to the girls rugby team who played two hard fought games yesterday. The girls came out with one win and one loss but they should all be proud of their efforts. Special mention to Bella Castillo, Sara Miller, and Melia Strosher who scored some amazing tries! Awesome work girls! See you Monday morning for practice!

  • Congratulations to both the red and white hawk boys rugby teams on two excellent performances away from home yesterday after school.  Next week there will be a practice on Tuesday after school and home games for both teams. Go Hawks

 

DANCERS:

Congratulations to the dancers who performed at Claremont yesterday. They represented North Saanich School so well! They were very respectful  I think they were the sweethearts of the show - they had lots and lots of applause!!! Well done!

 

Congratulations to Chloe, Lanna, Ella B for recent  success at the South Vancouver Island Summer Basketball game.
