TWIN DAY:  Yes, it's Twin Day!  Come & get your picture at lunch in the Atrium.


TECH CREW:  Today’s meeting is for those helping with Drop Dead Juliet!  If that’s you, then you need to do your best to be at the meeting!


DRAMA CLUB:   Today:  3:15 - 4:30 - Full Acting Cast


YEARBOOK:  Reminder of yearbook orders! Please have your orders in by next Friday!


MOUNTAIN BIKE CLUB:  What a great ride yesterday!  Next ride: Monday. If you have an trail you’d like to ride, please tell Mr. Caley today.


RUGBY:  Congratulations to both boys rugby teams on great games yesterday after school.  All their hard work and commitment is paying off in league play. Next practice is Tuesday after school. Go Hawks.



There will be a lunch meeting for all Teams today with Mrs. Jones.  Please bring your lunch and come to room 209 - Mrs. Jones might even have some dessert!

  • Please continue to bring back your signed permission forms.

  • Practices Times: General Practice Tuesday & Wednesday after school (3:15-4:15) at Parkland, and High Jump practice 8:00 am Thursday morning at North Saanich.

  • Make sure you have a copy of the updated schedule.


Mrs Stofer is having a contest for one lucky person to design the cover of our YEARBOOK!

  • Submissions should be on 8 1/2 X 11 size paper and depict NSMS life!

  • Perhaps: a picture collage, a sports theme, academics, friends that make NSMS what it is,or a hawk.

  • The deadline to submit your entry to Mrs. Stofer directly is April 25. Good luck!



  • Students interested in the Gauss Math Contest on May 16th should talk to their math or advisory teacher to sign up by tomorrow.. Although it is called a 'contest' the emphasis is on participation and challenging yourself.

  • Gauss Girls - Meeting today at lunch in the Art Room. New members are always welcome. Returning members: Bring your work on the 2015 contest and a calculator. Come ready to share your strategies and your questions.

  • Gauss Guys? If you are a guy and you are interested in a similar opportunity as the girls please talk to Ms. Carruthers.
