CANADA FOR JERSEY DAY
We encourage students & staff to wear a sports jersey tomorrow in tribute of the families of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash victims. Canadians will be showing their support by wearing their jerseys. We’ll be taking a group picture of all participants during Recess (between periods 3 & 4) tomorrow.
LET'S TALK SCIENCE TEAMS:
There is a VERY important (and very short!) meeting today at LUNCH for all Teams participating in this year's challenge. Please come to see Mrs. Jones at the beginning of lunch TODAY! You need to pick up a permission form - so it can be returned this week.

INTRAMURALS:
Today's lunch time soccer game is a grade 8 playoff game between Manchester City and Liverpool.
DRAMA CLUB:
Thursday, April 12 (tomorrow) - 3:15-7:30 (all actors)
RUGBY:

All day jamboree on Thursday.

Boys Rugby under 100 pound team. Game today at NSMS. Game will start by 3:45 and end around 5. Players bring cleats, mouth guards and permission forms to the gym equipment room after school. Go Hawks.
TRACK & FIELD:
Track & Field season is here! Please come to an information meeting if you are at all interested at recess (between periods 3 & 4), today in the ART ROOM.
GAUSS GIRLS:
Gauss Girls will meet again at lunch on today. We'll meet in the ART ROOM this week. New members are always welcome. Returning members please remember to sign up for our Google Classroom page and try some of the questions from the posted Gauss contest if you can. What is the probability of choosing a yellow M&M from the package? Finding out may require eating a few!
ATTENTION ARTISTS! CREATIVE COLOUR CREATORS! HAWKS!
Mrs Stofer is having a contest for one lucky person to design the cover of our YEARBOOK!
Submissions should be on 8 1/2 X 11 size paper and depict NSMS life!
Perhaps a collage of pictures, or a theme based on sports, academics, and friends that make NSMS what it is. Or a hawk.
The possibilities are endless. However, the deadline to submit your entry to Mrs. Stofer directly is April 25. Good luck!
