LET’S TALK SCIENCE CHALLENGE:

There will be an information meeting today at lunch for all students who are interested in the Let's Talk Science Challenge at UVIC this May.  Please bring your lunch with you to room 209 to meet with Mrs. Jones at 11:55.

CANDY-GRAMS:

Valentine's Day is coming up next week so Community Builders are selling Candy-grams all week in the atrium at lunch time. Individual candygrams are .50. A class set of candy-grams is $6.00. This is a great opportunity to let someone know you care.

PIZZA!

There will be no pizza on Friday as Panago is closed for renovations.  Our Canteen will be open.

DODGEBALL:

Congratulations to the Eh Team for winning the grade 6/7 dodgeball tournament in thrilling fashion yesterday at lunch.  Many classmates, including Mrs. Chambers, came out to cheer on Annika Pedersen, Jake Stofer, Quinn Stancil and Jacob Thompson as they fought their way from the loser's bracket up to the pinnacle of middle school dodgeball achievement!

Today will be an open gym for 21, bump or small volleyball games.

Grade 8 indoor soccer sign up is in the gym at lunch.

Any boys who want to play grade 8 rugby must attend a meeting in Mr. Chambers' room after the lunch eating period this Friday.

INDOOR SOCCER:

Grade 8 indoor soccer sign up begins this week.  Add your name to the sign up sheet in the gym.  Print neatly because if I can't read it, you won't be on a team!

PARKLAND WILL BE HOSTING ITS ANNUAL COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE ON THURSDAY FEBRUARY 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Everyone welcome! Come and experience our new Virtual Reality lab, hear about our Hockey, Judo, and Sailing academies. Listen to an amazing Parkland band, have some chili, hear about the IB program, and lots more.
