SOCCER:

The girls soccer team kicked off their season yesterday with a dramatic come from behind 5-4 loss against Glanford and a convincing 3-0 win over St. Margaret's School.  Ruby Broadbent and Hannah Arychuk dazzled the capacity crowd with fancy footwork and blazing speed while Maddison Mott-Staples and Evelyn Drury walled off the midfield for the Hawks.  Great effort by all the girls and especially Paige James and Anna Avila who both played in their first-ever soccer games!  See you at practice next Monday and Wednesday.  Our next game is at Bayside on Friday, Oct 6.  Go Hawks!
