Keating Youth Adventure Program will be in our atrium today at lunch to talk with students about their summer programs. Please stop by their table and talk with them.
TECH CREW:
The following members need to see Mr. Caley today. If you come during Advisory, please look for him in the LC. Otherwise please see him at lunch. Octavian, Jace, Jack, William, Adia & Sarah.
TWIN DAY:
Thursday May 25th will be Twin Day! Find a friend, pick a matching outfit. There will be a photo booth to take pictures with your twin or twins.
GIRLS’ AFTER SCHOOL BASKETBALL:
Any girls interested in continuing to play basketball on Fridays and possibly one day on the weekends please contact Mrs. Tamburino so we can continue to keep you informed of practice times.
TRACK & FIELD:
Attention all Track and Field Athletes...a reminder of the meet after school at UVic this afternoon. Please check the bulletin board outside Mrs. Carruthers classroom to ensure that you are signed up for the correct events. If you forgot to fill out your "Intent to Compete" form yesterday, there are extra ones in the ziploc bag on the bulletin board. If you are in grade 8 and are planning to run the 1200 m., please ask your block 4 teacher to be excused at 2:40 in order to get to UVic and properly warmed up for your race.
There is a short triple jump practice this Friday after school at Parkland. Please let Ms. Wheatley know if you plan to attend.
SCHOOL BIKE LEAGUE:
Yesterday our team rode in the sun at the Track Race at the Velodrome. Following up on some very successful recent races where our riders have been placing between 1st and 4th, we had yet another great day! Go HAWKS!
