DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
LUNCHTIME:
Grade 8’s will now be eating in the MPR and 6/7’s will be eating in their classrooms.
SCHOOL BIKE LEAGUE:
Today's race is the Track Race Juan du Fuca Rec Centre Velodrome. No need to bring your bike - they will be provided for this race (in fact, your bike won't be allowed unless it's a track bike). Please tell Mr. Caley if you intend to ride with us.
TWIN DAY:
Thursday May 25th will be Twin Day! Find a friend, pick a matching outfit. There will be a photo booth to take pictures with your twin or twins.
SCHOOL PHOTO DAY:
All Whole School Group Photo orders are due back to the office today.
GIRLS’ AFTER SCHOOL BASKETBALL:
Any girls interested in continuing to play basketball on Fridays and possibly one day on the weekends please contact Mrs. Tamburino so we can continue to keep you informed of practice times.
RUGBY:
Grade 8 Rugby team season wrap up party at lunch in Mr. G's room. Bring $5
Reminder of the girls rugby team of our pizza lunch today. Please come to Mrs. Stofer's room at lunch time today with your $ please.
TRACK & FIELD:
If you are planning on participating in the Meet at UVic on Wednesday there is a mandatory meeting today at 12:10 in Ms. Wheatley's room. Perry...I expect to see you there!!
The qualifying events are:
1200 m girls and boys
400 m girls and boys
long jump boys
shot put boys
discus girls
high jump girls
sprint hurdles (I don't think we have any athletes...unless Jada wants to give it a go!!)
Also, if you are on a 4x100 team, your whole team must attend the practice either today after school or next Tuesday after school.
High jump practice before school at NSMS on Wednesday and practice after school today at Parkland.
