DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Staff: a reminder of those helping during period 4 with the Showcase Rehearsal on Friday (set up is Period 4 so that the Drama can continue with access to the Stage Friday)
TECH CREW:
Those helping with today's Showcase Rehearsal need to be in the MPR at the Beginning of Recess & during Block 4 to set up. Be sure to get permission from your Block 4 teacher!

SHOWCASE:
Tickets are on sale now! $5 each; a family pack of 4 for $10. Available each day at lunch in the Atrium or for parents at the school office.
RUGBY:
Congratulations to the grade 8 boys Blue Rugby team! They played two excellent games after school yesterday. Nate Price and Nathaniel Sneek had some great runs for tries, Matt Lepage kicked well, Joseph Lukie and Logan Stretchman tackled like beasts. Next practice is Wednesday followed by an away game on Thursday. Well done boys.
TRACK & FIELD:
Track and field athletes who are planning to compete at UVic on Thursday, May 11th, must come to an important meeting in Ms. Wheatley's room during the lunch activity period on Tuesday. If you are unable to make it to the meeting you must see Ms. Carruthers as soon as possible. Events for next Thursday's meet are:
Girls Long Jump and Shot Put
Boys High Jump and Discus
800m, 200m and 2000m (boys and girls)
MATH!
The Gauss Math Contest is Wednesday, May 10th in Block 3. Students who have signed up should make sure they have worked on at least one past contest but the more you do the better. A link to past contests is available on Ms. Carruthers' homework page. See Ms. C in Room 208 if you have any questions.

KELSET SPRING FAIR:

BASKETBALL:
Girls basketball Friday at the NSMS gym from 3:15 to 4:15. We welcome all girls (beginner to advanced levels) who attend NSMS. See you there – bring a friend!
