Re: Donations to School

The North Saanich Middle School annual Viking Cup hockey game is approaching quickly. The game is played between the staff and the grade 8 hockey players in the school. The rest of the student body attends the game. We have numerous contests and draws for the fans, including a singing contest of Stomping Tom Conner's “the Hockey Song”, to give all students the opportunity to participate in the festivities.

We greatly appreciate any donation of prizes that we receive from local businesses. These prizes are given out throughout the game. Students get their name placed in a prize box if they have received a Spirit Ticket. Staff at NSMS hand out Spirit Tickets during this week as part of School Spirit Week. Students may received a ticket for academic effort, citizenship, school service, sportsmanship or any kind or caring act around the school.

The Viking Cup takes place on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 12:20 p.m. at Panorama Arena B.

Thank you for helping make this school spirit activity a success.
