GLOBAL FRIENDSHIPS PROGRAM:
We are still looking for one more family to host a pair of girls from March 22nd - March 26th.
Even if your own family is unable to host it would be very much appreciated if you could pass on the info to family and friends. Please contact jtamburino@sd63.bc.ca for more info.
VOLLEYBALL:
Grade 7 and 8 Girls Volleyball Players!
We will be having a pizza lunch next Thursday March 9.
If you are interested in celebrating with your team, please
bring $2 to your coach - Mrs. Johnson or Mrs. Stofer before Wednesday.
RUGBY:
Girls Rugby practice will be on Tuesday March 7 3:15.
Be prepared to go outside.
The grade 8 rugby team begins Monday's practice with a tackling session followed by a full inter squad game. You must have cleats and a mouth guard to be on the field. See you then!
LET’S TALK SCIENCE:
It's time to get ready for the Let's Talk Science Challenge! If you love science and would like to spend a day at UVIC in May, please come and find out more about this great event. There will be a meeting on Friday at lunch in room 209 with Mrs. Jones.
SHOWCASE:
Showcase Auditions
A reminder to Showcase participants that Auditions are next Tuesday & Wednesday. With Monday being a Professional Day, it's important that those auditioning on Tuesday remember to come prepared. Additionally, you might want to spend a little time this weekend rehearsing your performance. If you haven't signed up for an audition yet, please do so outside the LC.

PARKLAND JAZZ BAND FUNDRAISER:
“Exclusive Fundraiser Movie Screening of DOCTOR STRANGE! Thursday, March 16 at 6:45pm at Sidney’s Star Cinema. All proceeds will support the Parkland Jazz Band as they travel to Nationals in Niagara Falls in May. Enjoy a great movie, excellent popcorn, amazing prizes, and a fun night with friends!
