ELL class during Advisory is cancelled today.


SHOWCASE:

  • All students who are interested in performing in Showcase this Spring need to attend a meeting in the LC at lunchtime today.  We want any students who have a performance talent - whether it be singing, playing an instrument, dancing, juggling, poetry, stand up comedy - if you  can entertain a crowd for  a few minutes then we want you!  Even if you're unsure, come along and get the information so you can decide.  We hope to see you Tuesday in the LC - bring your lunch with you.

VOLLEYBALL:

  • Grade 6 Girls Volleyball Players: We have our first away game at Bayside today.

  • Grade 6/7 boys volleyball final game day at Bayside Middle School on Thursday, Feb. 23. Please ask your block 4 teachers to be dismissed at 2:45 and meet Mme McElgunn and your parent/guardian drivers in the atrium to organize rides.

  • Grade 8 girls volleyball players reminder that you have a practice Wednesday at 3:15 and a game at NSMS against the grade 7 team

Thursday after school. NO Thursday morning practice!

RUGBY:

  • There is another introductory 6/7 rugby practice Wednesday 3:15-4:15.  Bring PE strip and grit.  Any students not able to attend last week's practice are welcome. Meet in MPR.

BAND FUNDRAISER:

  • Purdy's Easter Chocolates - The band students are collecting orders for Purdy's Easter Chocolates to offset costs for the Whistler 2017 trip. If you would like to order chocolates for Easter, please contact Mary-Ellen Lundgren for ordering information, or pick up an order form at the office.  Orders are due March 16 and will be available for pick up at the school on or after March 30th.  Mary-Ellen: 778 967 2698 or melon_edwards@hotmail.com

ALLEGRO PERFORMING ARTS:

  • Allegro Dance Group is performing at Charlie White Theatre on Saturday, February 25th at 2:00pm and 7:00pm.  We have a few tickets in the office for staff or students that are interested in attending.
