Week 1
BOOK FAIR:
Visit the book fair before it's gone! It will be open today and at lunch and recess. Family night is TONIGHT! Bring your family to visit the book fair before or after the winter band concert and enter to win a great prize!
TECH CREW:
Tech crew members helping with tonight's band concert need to meet in the gym at the beginning of recess.
BASKETBALL:
Girls grade 6/7 Basketball players, please come to an important meeting in Mrs. Stofer's classroom at the beginning of lunch today.
Grade 6/7 Boys Basketball
There will be a final practice and pizza party for all grade 6/7 boys basketball players on Thursday after school from 3:15-4:15.
INDIGINOUS ARTISTS:
Will all Indigenous writers and artists please go to the art room after you've eaten your lunch. Thank you! (Every Tuesday & Thursday)
VOLLEYBALL:
There is a grade 6 boys volleyball practice this Thursday at 8:15am.
All grade 7 and 8 girls interested in volleyball please come see Ms. Mazzocchi and Mrs. Johnson in room 201 at lunch after the eating period for a brief meeting.
Grade 8 boys volleyball has been changed. It will now be Wednesday after school.
CANTEEN:
Tuesday's
$5.00 combo Macaroni and cheese, juice and brownie, volunteers are
Kai and Ciara.
Wednesday's volunteers are Reegan and Hannah, we
will be serving Lasagna and Grilled Pita and Tzatziki.
Thursday's
$5.00 combo, Hotdog,chips and juice, volunteer is Colten.
YAC:
There will be a meeting in Ms. Wheatley's room after the eating period on Wednesday. We will be discussing the organization of the Candy Cane Cafe. Please bring your posters that will be displayed around the school.
CANDY-CANE-O-GRAMS:
Div. 7 is selling candy canes to raise money for Toys for Tots. They are being sold at lunch and recess in the atrium. Small candy canes are 50 cents each. Large candy canes are $1.00, and a class set of candy canes can be purchased for $10.00. Candy canes will be delivered to classrooms on Wednesday, December 16th.
LOST & FOUND:
Please remember to check the NSMS Lost and Found this week (displayed in the Atrium). All unclaimed items will be donated on Dec 11th.
