A reminder to all athletes of the Track Meet after school today. If you have qualified for the 2000m Final or are competing in a 4x100 relay, you must come and check in with Mrs. Carruthers and Ms. Wheatley at lunch time today. Teachers, please allow participating students to be dismissed at 2:45 this afternoon. Also, there will be a practice after school tomorrow at Parkland.
Choir: As this is the LAST practice coming up on Thursday, all choir members are expected to attend as we prepare for the spring concert next week. Please let Mme Robillard know if you cannot be there.
Band: Grade 6 bandies are reminded to bring in their signed permission form for this Friday's outdoor concert at the Sidney bandshell. Please bring it to class tomorrow morning.
All bandies are asked to please be on time for their 8:30AM rehearsals this week, as it is the last week before Spring Concert. Only 3 rehearsals left!
Tomorrow's School Bike League race is the Track Race at the Velodrome at Juan de Fuca. Racers do not need to bring their bikes as bikes will be provided. Last week Marshall Walden did a fine job representing North Saanich at the BMX race, coming in 6th out of 16 riders.
WHL intramural floor hockey today is Vancouver vs Kelowna and in the NHL it's Toronto vs Boston. Don't forget that this Friday is a game between the WORLD CHAMPION TEACHERS and whoever is in first place in the grade 8 league. Also players, there are schedules posted all over the school! Make sure you check for your next game.
Mr. Greaves' grade 8 PE classes bring gloves and other baseball/softball gear to PE class for the next two weeks.
Canteen will be serving Quesadillas, chicken Nuggets and Caesar salads, Voluntters are Simin and Quinn. Tuesday, Sloppy Joe's with fries and Chicken Caesar Wraps, volunteers Melissa and Kaitlyn. Wednesday $5.00 combo Spaghetti with meat sauce, brownie and juice, volunteers Sarah and Ana. Thursday's $5.00 combo hotdog, chips, juice and treat, Voluntters David and Quinn.
