Morning Announcements for

Wednesday, April 1,2015

Current events!!
Archaeologists in Egypt have been working on the 3,800 year old Pyramid of Giza which was built in honour of the Pharoah Khufu.  Despite working continuously for many years, there were still parts of the structure that remain unexplored.  Until recently that is!  One of those parts was just discovered to be a third mortuary temple.  It was always believed that there were only two mortuary temples!  So the scientists carefully removed the stones which guarded the entrance and were astonished to see a skeleton inside!  The body was holding a Starbucks cup and wearing a t-shirt with the words 'Go Hawks!' written on it!
