Viking Cup:
Viking Cup Hockey Players - The first practice is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at 7:00 AM in the main arena at Panorama. In order to play in the Viking Cup you must attend practices and return your permission slip to Mr. Russell. The following students have returned permission slips: Will T., Morgan P., Russell K., Lukas S., Addy M., Hayley S., Marlene R., Quinn G., Kody S., Logan C., Brennan W., Luke W., and Mac B, Sam G If your name is not on this list you need to get a permission slip signed and returned to the office before practice.
Volleyball:
Reminder that there will be a 6/7 boys' volleyball practice after school today 3:15-4:15
Canteen:
Wednesday $5.00 combo Alfredo pasta, brownie and Juice, volunteers Sarah and Anna, Thursday's $5.00 combo, mini cheese pizza, chocolate chip cookies and juice, volunteers are Quinn and Simon.
School Bike League
There is a short meeting for all students interested in the School Bike League on the stage at RECESS today. Permission forms for both BikeJam & the Bike League will be available.
Let's Talk Science Challenge
If you are interested in spending a day at UVIC for this year's Science Challenge, please come to a meeting this Friday at lunch in room 209. See Mrs. Jones' homework page for more info.
Lunch Activities:
Today in the gym there will be an epic battle between the grade 6/7 girls and grade 6/7 boys volleyball teams. Come out to cheer on your team and find out the answer to the question,"are boys really as good as girls?"
Grade 8 leaders will be organizing Ping Pong in the Multi Purpose room on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for the next few weeks. Come on out and take on the legend, Mr. Demers.
Showcase:
Students wanting to Audition for Showcase need to sign up for an Audition Time outside the LC & also pick up both Performer information sheets. Auditions are approaching quickly - you should be practicing your act now!
Rugby:
There will be a boys grade 7 rugby practice after school on Thursday. Bring mouth guards and cleats. Any grade 7 boys that may be interested can still come out! See Mr. Greaves. Meet Mr. Greaves on super 8 field no later than 3:15. Practice will go till 4:15.
Grade 8s have a rugby practice after school today. Bring your mouth guards and cleats. Meet Mr. Chambers on the large field.
Band:
Grade 8 band: Please remember to bring in your forms to band tomorrow. Ms. Robillard needs them to plan for Whistler!
