Morning Announcements for

Wednesday, April 2, 2014

Mrs. Stofer is looking for artwork for the yearbook.
If you are an aspiring artist or just like to dabble with doodles,
please create a lovely drawing for the cover of the yearbook.
Submissions are to be in to Mrs. Stofer by April 18.

There is an important meeting for all Bike Club members attending next week's Bike Jam in the Computer Lab today at 12:02 sharp. You must attend the meeting if you are going to the Bike Jam.

Grade 6 bandies are reminded to come to the band room right after announcements tomorrow. You should be dressed in your black and white. Permission forms MUST be in to Ms Robillard before you can go!

There is no Gr 7 band class tomorrow either, BUT anyone wishing to come from 8:30-9AM for extra practice are more than welcome.

There is also no choir practice at lunch tomorrow.

Grade 8 boys rugby team does not practice today as Mr. Chambers is away. Remember that we need to go to Royal Oak tomorrow. Ask your parents to be at the school at 2:30.

Permission forms for the Let's Talk Science Challenge should be in to Mrs. Jones today. Please see her at lunch if you have any questions.

The boys and girls 6/7 rugby team got off to a roaring start to the season. Luke Warmenhoven, Joseph Bond and Jacob led the way as leaders on mostly a grade 6 team that was playing their first middle school rugby. Our team represented NSMS very well putting Bayside in their place! Next practice is Thursday after school.

Unfortunately, due to lack of numbers, there will not be a girls rugby team this year. If you are interested in playing in a boys team, please see Mr. Greaves, or Mr. Chambers.

Canteen: Today's volunteers are Chenoa and Alexia. We will be serving Turkey Tacos, Mini Cheese a Pizzas and Bacon and Cheese Quesadillias. Tomorrow's $5,00 combo Hotgog, chips and juice.
