Wendy Morton, is coming to NSMS!

Renowned Canadian poet, Wendy Morton, is coming to NSMS! Over a three day period, for 2 hours per day (blocks 1 and 2), Ms. Morton will mentor a small group of students, who have been recommended by their teachers, to create powerful poetic pieces that represent their life stories.
Topics will include:
• What makes a poem?
• How you can pick a poem out of your experience & turn it into a delight
• How to become a poet or how to become a better one
Wendy has a special talent for finding the poetry within others and bringing it to life. We are excited to see what our students do with this opportunity.
