Week 1 in the School Calendar
- Choir today right after block 2. Bring your lunch. We start singing at noon. Boys, boys, boys. We need boys! (And we definitely can use more girls too!!)
- Performance Band tomorrow morning at 8AM.
- Today's Intramural Soccer grade 6/7 teams 3 v 5
- Grade 8 girls volleyball practice today after school, from 3:15-4:15!

- Thanks to all who participated yesterday in the Vow of Silence. There were 194 participants (up from 157 last year) and we took in $388 in support of those children who do not have a voice. We will combine these monies with other funds raised this year. Some will go to the Free the Children organization for the "adopt-a-village" project and some will stay right here in our community to help children in need. You have made a difference, North Saanich. YAC members: see you at next Wednesday's meeting. New members are always welcome.
- Don't forget to submit your new design for an anti-bullying logo to Mrs Paquette or Ms. Wheatley by next Tuesday Jan. 28th. Winning design will be printed on tshirts and sold for Pink Shirt day on Feb. 26th. Winning designer gets a free tshirt and a chocolate bar of their choice.
