Our neighbours, the Highway Christian Fellowship Church, have assembled backpacks that they would like our school to distribute to NSMS families in need of financial support to have a Thanksgiving turkey meal this weekend. The backpacks have a gift card for groceries. If you are interested in one of these backpacks, please send Mr. Russell a confidential email at krussell@saanichschools.ca or call him at the school (250-656-1129). Mr. Russell will arrange for you to pick up the backpack on Friday. Your name will not be shared with anyone else.
They will be distributed on a first-come base.
