Basketball:
There will be a meeting today at lunch in the French portable at 12:05 for any Grade 8’s wanting to play basketball this year. Practice will be Tuesday morning at 7:45.
Boys Soccer:
There will be a boys soccer practice Tuesday from 3:15-4. Meet Mr. Greaves in gym. Bring PE strip and soccer cleats. Our first game is next Monday Sept 24th.
Cross Country:
Reminder that there is NO CROSS COUNTRY practice after school Wednesday as there are parent teacher meetings.
Pizza Fridays:
Pizza Fridays starts this week!
Pizza $2
Chocolate milk $2

Intra-Squad Basketball Game:
On Saturday, Sept 21st from 7-9pm, Parkland Secondary will be hosting a UVic Men's Intra-Squad Exhibition Basketball Game as a fundraiser for the Tour de Rock & Cops for Cancer Foundation! The cost to enter will be $2 for children and $5 for adults, and ALL proceeds raised will go directly to the Cops for Cancer Foundation. Parking is free and the doors will open at 6:30pm: bring your family & friends and come out and enjoy some fantastic basketball action and support an extremely worthy cause at the same time!
Grade 8 Leadership:
Any grade 8's who have not completed a leadership application are asked to complete their form and return it to the office. If you do not have a form please pick one up in the office.
Lockers:
For students without locks on their lockers, please be sure to place a lock on your locker ASAP. Extra lockers will be closed off so be sure to have a lock on your locker.
