DROP DEAD JULIET!
Last chance to see Drop Dead Juliet! Doors open at 6:30, show is at 7:00. There are still tickets available. Buy your tickets in advance before school and at lunchtime. There will be a concession open each evening before the show.
INDOOR SOCCER:
Congratulations to Division 1 for winning the indoor soccer championship! They came back from 6th place in the standings to win both of their playoff games and earn a berth in the final against Div 8. Yesterday's game was closely fought battle but Div 1 prevailed!
Today there is grade 8 drop in floor hockey in the gym at lunch.
RUGBY:
Congratulations to the girls rugby team who played two hard fought games at UVIC yesterday.
The girls defeated both Bayside 5-3 and SMU 6-3 and showed considerable sportsmanship, tenacity, and determination. The entire team played exceptionally hard, special mention to Ella Baird, Kenzie Born, Lanna Norris, Carys Langard, Leila Williams and Charlotte Benson for scoring tries.
Girls please come to a short meeting at recess in Mrs. Stofer's room today.
CLASS PHOTOS/WHOLE SCHOOL PHOTO:
Wednesday, May 30th is photo day. All students will receive a class photo (no order or fee required), and those students who wish to purchase the whole school photo can pick up the order form at the office.
GAUSS MATH:
The Gauss Math Contest is Wednesday, May 16th in Block 3. If you have signed up, make sure you are working on some of the previous contests to help you prepare. You will need a calculator for the contest...phones will not be permitted.
Gauss Girls - today is our last meeting before the contest. Please work on the 2013 contest and come to the Art Room with your calculators and your questions and strategies.
