MOUNTAIN BIKE CLUB

DRAMA CLUB:

There will be a costume meeting at lunch eating period. We will discuss costume ideas and progress.

Drama Club - All Stage Craft members please meet on the stage Tuesday, April 17 after school for an important meeting from 3:15 to 4:15 pm.

Reminder of yearbook orders! Please have your orders in by next Friday!
TRACK & FIELD:

Please continue to bring back your signed permission forms to the envelope outside Ms. Carruthers' class (Room 208) ASAP.

Practices start this week: General Practice Tuesday (TODAY) & Wednesday after school (3:15) at Parkland, and High Jump practice 8:00am Thursday morning at North Saanich.

IMPORTANT NEWS: Also there has been a slight change to the schedule and new schedules will be given out at practices. Please make sure you get one.
LET’S TALK SCIENCE:
All members of the Let's Talk Science teams need to get their permission forms in to Mrs. Jones TODAY!
ATTENTION ARTISTS! CREATIVE COLOUR CREATORS! HAWKS!
Mrs Stofer is having a contest for one lucky person to design the cover of our YEARBOOK!

Submissions should be on 8 1/2 X 11 size paper and depict NSMS life!

Perhaps a collage of pictures, or a theme based on sports, academics, and friends that make NSMS what it is. Or a hawk.

The possibilities are endless. However, the deadline to submit your entry to Mrs. Stofer directly is April 25. Good luck!
RUGBY:

Girls rugby team please come to a meeting in Mrs Stofer's room at recess today.

Boys Rugby practice after school today 3:15-4:15.

All boys players are expected to attend unless they speak with Mr. Greaves or Mr. Chambers.

Red team will be playing at home for Wednesday's game and the white team will be travelling to Spencer on Wed. Players check which team you are on outside of Mr. Greaves Room. Parent drivers will be needed for the white team this week. Parent Pick up at NSMS will be at 2:30 in Mr. Greaves room. White team players are to ask permission to leave block 4 at 2:25 to get changed and then meet in Mr. Greaves room.
GAUSS MATH CONTEST:

Students interested in participating in the Gauss Math Contest on May 16th should talk to their math or advisory teacher to sign up by Thursday, April 19th. Although it is called a 'contest' the emphasis is on participation and challenging yourself.

Gauss Girls - We've consistently had 12-16 girls at each meeting so far. We will meet again on Wednesday in the Art Room and new members are welcome to join. Returning members: Remember to work on the 2015 contest and come ready to share your strategies and your questions.
