VOLLEYBALL:
Any grade 6 or 7 boys who are interested in playing volleyball this year - please bring your lunch to room 209 (Mrs. Jones' room) to find out more about practice times and game days. All players are welcome!
Grade 8 Boys - Practice after school on Monday.
THE FIND YOUR FIT WILL BE AT PARKLAND – A CAREER EXPLORATION EVENT:
This event allows students to jump in and try skills they'll need for different careers in demand across B.C. Interactive activity stations include: accounting, welding, carpentry, and more. Students can access career info, tools and services, and apply real life experiences to their career planning.
Parents are welcome to attend this event after school, and into the evening, as they look for ways to help educate and support their children in careers exploration. FIND YOUR FIT is part of the B.C government's Skills for Jobs Blueprint commitment to deliver the skilled workforce B.C.'s growing economy needs. This event is FREE to our school community and Parkland welcomes students and parents to explore the program, and discover how to find your fit for a wonderful career! 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm for students and parents.
