Dear Grade 7 Parents: We have had a large number of families request that their children be excused from writing this year's FSA provincial assessments. The purpose of the FSA is to provide a "snapshot" of how well students are doing in the key foundational areas. The results of these assessments are shared with parents and the school. As a school, we use these results to identify any trends in NSMS student performance. This helps us with school planning and goal setting.
