DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Showcase:
All Showcase performers need to attend a Short meeting at the start of Lunch today. Please bring your lunch to the LC. If everyone is prompt, we'll be finished before the Activity period starts!
Yearbook Orders:
Reminder that Yearbook Orders are due April 27. Don't be late, you may not receive a book!
Hand order forms and money in to your homeroom teacher.
School Bike League:
Yesterday's Road Racers managed to dodge around the raindrops as our school's riders again posted a respectable finish. Next week: the Enduro (think downhill) at Hartland.
Intramurals:
Grade 8 intra murals today is drop in floor hockey. Any and all grade 8s are welcome to play.
RUGBY:
Reminder of the girls rugby practice Wednesday after school.
Grade 8 boys have a rugby practice today after school. We are preparing for tomorrow's games. Be ready to go at 3:15.
TRACK & FIELD:
BASKETBALL:
Friday after school basketball for girls will start on April 21st at North Saanich Middle School.
We will meet at 3:15 in the gym.
The boys have been running a drop in basketball program for a few months and they have generously offered to split the gym with us. To clarify, we will be practicing separately from the boys.
Coach Larry Green of Parklands will be running these free drop in basketball sessions. Parents are always welcome to stay and watch. Please feel free to invite your friends who are interested in learning to play basketball.
