In celebration of International Literacy Day, we would like to collect gently used books for babies, toddlers and young children for the “1000 X 5” Children’s Book Recycling Project.
This project collects and redistributes books to families on the peninsula.
Research indicates that home libraries have a significant positive effect on the literacy development of young children and their early success in school.
Please help share the gift of literacy with others. Bring in your gently used books by February 15th.
Books may be left at the office or brought into the LC.
