Dance - Thurs at lunch for any gr 6/7 interested...everyone welcome - girls and guys ...you don't have to be in the NSMS Dance Troupe to participate. Bring your lunch to the stage.

Starting on Wednesday, April 30th, school will be dismissed at 2:53.

Any grade 7 or grade 8 students interested in volunteering at Sidney Elementary's Spring Fling on Friday please come to the office today at lunch and talk to Mrs. Tamburino.

Another dominating performance for our 6/7 boys and girls rugby team at Bayside. Matt Hermsen helped the Baysiders keep it close, but both Bayside and Lansdowne were no match for our boys and girls. We have a practice after school on Thursday. Next week is our final week! With a practice on Monday and an all day Jamboree on Wed. Rugby players must be up to date with all their academics to come with Mr. Greaves and Mr. Cooper (slider) See you Thursday (Jonah!!!!)

All athletes are reminded of the practice after school today at Parkland. Because of the earlier dismissal time, it will run from 3:10-4:10. It's going to be a hot one today so don't forget your water bottles!

All grade 8 rugby players must attend practice today after school in order to play in tomorrow's home games. See Mr. Chambers if this is a problem.

All Mountain Bike Club members who intend to ride today need to tell Mr. Caley.

Yesterday, members of the School Bike League switched sports and raced in a bicycle road race at Western Speedway. In the A Final, Kael set a blazing first lap pace before being caught by the pack, and then racing to an exciting finish 1/2 a bike length ahead of Tomas. In the meantime, also in the A Final, Tori finished 3rd in the Girls' division, and Tharen had a respectable finish not far behind the leading pack. Up next week: the BMX race at the Juan de Fuca BMX track.

2 more days for the big COIN DRIVE, North Saanich. Hope you can top up your collections and contribute more coins to help YAC support clean water. Thanks for participating!
