The boys Grade 7/8 Hawks played two exciting games yesterday afternoon in Victoria. They defeated Selkirk and Saint Michael's with a combination of lock down defense and a lot of run and fun offense. Great job guys! We will have practice at 7:45 Wednesday morning.

Recently, there was a devastating typhoon in the Philippines that has resulted in the country being thrown into chaos. Many people have lost their homes and livelihood and are without the basic needs. Here at North Saanich, beginning today, we will be collecting loonies, toonies, or any type of cash to send to the people of that country. Your homeroom teacher will provide a collection jar and we hope that you will once again show your generosity. Whatever cash we can collect by Dec. 6th will be matched by our federal government. Show your global community spirit, North Saanich, and bring in coins to help the people of the Philippines.

Today's volunteers are Chenoa and Alexia. We will be serving chicken and corn quesadillas, chicken nuggets with veggies and Caesar salads. Wednesdays volunteers are Tanner and Drew. Wednesday we will be serving chicken Caesar Wraps, B.L.T cheddar wraps and baked Lasagna with garlic toast. Thursday is Macaroni $5.00 combo meal.
