Mr. Pimlott – Retirement

On Dec. 20, 2013, Mr. Pimlott will be retiring after 33 and a-half years of teaching. He has spent his entire career providing outstanding service to our children, school and community.

Mr. Pimlott began his teaching career at North Saanich Middle School in 1980.  He then taught at Royal Oak Middle School between 1985 and 1997 before returning to NSMS in 1998.   Mr. Pimlott has taught a variety of subjects at school and coached countless number of sports teams, but he will be most fondly remembered as the Physical Education teacher who built outstanding relationships with his students.  His sense of humour, coupled with his high expectations for student behaviour resulted in a safe, fun and inviting atmosphere in the gym and playing fields.

As Mr. Pimlott retires we want to make sure that we continue to offer the same quality of programs that he has organized for years at NSMS in intramurals, athletics and Physical Education.   In middle school, one of our goals is to provide a safe learning environment where students are willing to try new things.  We want to thank Mr. Pimlott for providing one of those places at NSMS.

Best of luck in your retirement, Mr. Pimlott. North Saanich Middle School and our community thank you for all your years of hard work and your commitment to our students and school. We will miss you!
